Masters of the Universe: Thousand Sons vs Space Wolves

 We have the power!

Thousand Sons vs Space Wolves battle report for Warhammer 40k in the style of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

This game has been a long time coming, but after much planning and an escalating number of conversions, He-Man finally gets to fight Skeletor!

This crossover lunacy was started by Monkey, whose 'Hei-Mann' Space Wolf battle leader inspired me to converted a Thousand Sons 'Tzeletor'.

By the time the dust had settled, we had almost two dozen characters, ready to command our respective armies. Winters SEO was kind enough to provide the battleground, and really didn't know what he had let himself in for.

Monkey had to do some fairly convoluted army building to get everything to fit in here (because everything had to be tournament-legal, obviously). We got there in the end, although I think we refunded the exorbitant command points he would have needed to spend, because that's no fun for anyone.

Tzeletor and the Evil Warriors

The good thing about a list of pure nonsense is its versatility. I last used this army as Chaos Space Marines, but as the new codex was right around the corner (but crucially, not in our hands), I couldn't use that for a YouTube battle report, or it would become immediately obsolete.

So it was back to Thousand Sons (the natural antagonists to Space Wolves anyway), and every character basically become some kind of sorcerer to lead my units. Beast-Man even got to lead the beastmen, which was nice.

The game itself was immensely fun to play, and I'd recommend checking it out - free to watch on Winters SEO YouTube channel.

  2. This was awesome! I can't wait until you've done MASK-themed Squats, Real Ghostbusters Inquisitors and Thundercat T'au for next month's batrep.

  3. Great game guys! My favourite bits were the roll-off for first turn and Stylus's extremely Skeletor-like exclamation at 1:25:58
