This Naughty List assignment should have been an easy swing for me: rebase a couple of war machines.

But most of my painting time this week has been eaten up by travel, so this turned into a very close-run thing.

Hi, Elves!

Another day, another army.

Not all of them! I'm not that fast. I just meant I was starting a new project, it came out wrong. These are the first couple of units for General Palafox's High Elves, which I shall mostly be painting over the next month.

Scouting for Dark Elves

Sunday means it's time to reveal the Dark Elves for the week. Running parallel to their Woody Cousins, I've got a pack of evil scouts.

Slow but steady through the last few days. I've clearly been on the end of the same Plague Wind as Gen. Stylus. While bent over these tiny horsemen, I've been hacking away like an attic-dwelling bohemian in Paris, and I wasn't sure I was going to get the unit completed. So I took a bunch of morphine-laced cough suppressant and went nuts.

Mobile artillery is like a box of chocolates ... you want to avoid the hard centres.

Bronzino's Galloper Guns were the only war machines available to Dogs of War armies, unless you want to include Malakai Makaisson's Goblin-Hewer or the Halfling Hot-Pot Catapult...

Like I said, Bronzino's Galloper Guns were the only war machines available to Dogs of War armies. Fair play to Alessio Cavatore for trying something new (and historically-accurate) with cannon, and even more kudos to the Perry Brothers for the fantastic sculpt on these models (compare and contrast the Empire's plastic cannon).

It's really a shame that, in terms of game play, they're pretty bloody useless.
