It's campaign time again!

We're building quite a collection of narrative campaigns and those battle reports are some of my favourite to revisit.

And so we're going for it once again - an eight player campaign, played remotely until destruction or exhaustion claims us all. Narrative provided by Kraken, maps from Pootle, camerawork and general administration by I, Stylus.

Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me: Nurgle Daemons vs Chaos Space Marines

Having assembled a unit of Havocs from the proper kit, I found I was left with a lot of spare heavy weapons.

And so I decided to imitate the action of the cheapskate, and kitbash together some more heavy weapon heretics.

Weekend at Burnie’s 4 - Day 2: Black Legion vs Death Guard

Ghock Hackfiend stormed into Gormenghastly's quarters, "Why do you delay? There is blood to be spilt in Khorne's name and I refuse to wait for you to conjour up your new diseases!"

Gormenghastly the Garrotter shook his head pityingly, "I will kill more with my perfected toxins than you can ever dream of. You may have slaughtered thousands in Khorne's name, but millions have died choking on their own vomit and gasping for one last breath due to my concoctions in Nurgle's honour.

"In fact, my intelligence shows an opportunity for both of us to profit. I hear that the famed warband, The End of All Things have come to Hendris. You will enjoy killing the favoured of Nurgle, and I need something special from their leader."

Pootle here! Last year I beat Stylus in getting my batreps for Weekend at Burnies written up, but he's much quicker out of the blocks this year so I'm playing catch-up.

The Last Stand: The Purge vs Black Legion

Gormenghastly's ancient terminator plate creaked as he waded through the dust of Golfroth IV. Decius was a fool to object to his plan to join up with the Black Legion. His loyalty to Nurgle in the face of Ghox's worship of Khorne was understandable, but the Purge had always delighted in exterminating life and although Gormenghastly did not doubt his own loyalty to the Plague God, he had no objection to allying his warband to Ghox's Black Legion in the joint cause of spilling more blood.

Ghormenghastly could see the Ghox's warband just ahead. This parlay would finalise the terms of the deal to join the Black Legion. Nothing could stop him now...

A reckoning is coming for The Purge!
