Wheel Get Them Ready In Time!

In preparedness for an upcoming SkypeBoot against Kraken's chaos cavalry, I want to add some more mounted options for my greenskins.

Spider and Wolf Riders are already on the painting table, and in a fit of ambition that I'll never be able to achieve, I've started assembling some chariots.

You will ride eternal, shiny and chrome.

A Tale Of Two Krakens

One of these Krakens is the reason I've blown my hobby budget on mats...

The other Kraken - is also the reason I've blown my hobby budget on mats, because he keeps sending me the oh-so tempting Kickstarter links. Must be some kind of tentacle-based conglomeration I'm unaware of.

Octopus Inc. has a long reach.

But enough of this, you came for the mats. Then welcome and wipe your feet...

Resistance to Change

I have a lot of respect for Kairic Disciples. They perform an important task in any dungeon ecosystem themed around evil cults, providing a valuable amount of filler for heroes in order to build tension on before a final confrontation with the true mastermind behind all the villany.

But if they came barging up in my tower wearing their bird masks and being all Egyptian and whatnot, then I'd have to say

Oi! Tzeentch! No!

What does 'Kairic' mean anyway?

I guess it means Games Workshop are serious about beefing up their IP, because they dominate the Google result with these beauties.

They're basically Tzeenchian cultists, is what they are,

Warhammer Quest Silver Tower: Kairic Acolytes
Choleric Acolytes? Concentric Acolytes?

Just in case you may have thought I'd given up on my personal Warhammer Quest to paint the set Silver Tower set, rest assured that work continues apace. It's just a very slow pace.

If You Can't Stand the Heat

Dungeon Saga time! An impromptu Skype session with General Kas. For his inaugural session, we started the Infernal Crypts campaign.

Appropriately, the devilishly lava-based board was laid out in my kitchen. Seems we could both stand it.

Ten Shades of Purple

Yeah, I couldn't stretch to fifty.
