Let's keep it family friendly here.
Jessica Drew, whose owes her superhero origins to that most noble of causes: securing the copyright to the 'Spider-Woman' name before DC Comics grabbed it.
With such deep narrative roots, it's remarkable how little Spider-Woman has been involved in Peter Parker's adventures. In the early days, she was much more involved in S.H.I.E.L.D. (as an agent), Hydra (as a double-agent), Avengers and even the X-Men. Basically, anyone but Spider-Man!
I do like the red and yellow costume and with my practised recipe for red (Khorne Red, Mephiston Red, Evil Sunz Scarlett and Wild Rider Red), it was just a case of highlighting the muscles to best effect.
On the table, she seems formidable, with a few nice tricks. Although I may be disproving that, as on the few occasions I've fielded her, I've stuffed it up. So I certainly owe Spider-Woman a proper run in the Web Warriors.
