Even monster hunters can be nepo babies.
Elsa Bloodstone is the latest in the Bloodstone family tree. Created by legendary 40k novelist Dan Abnett, she hunts monsters with a pair of hellfire Winchester rifles and the kind of jolly-hockey sticks attitude that only an English all-girls boarding school can produce.
On the table, Elsa is the leader of Midnight Suns (a supernatural Avengers), so that unlocks a new affiliation for me to play with. There are a number of classic monsters to add to the roster, which surprised me, as I'd never really the horror side of Marvel's publications.
Despite the black coat and boots, I went with a light undercoat for the model, as I didn't want the red clothes and hair to be dimmed. It came out quite well, although needed something of a steady hand to add in the black details.
Now off to bag a werewolf and still be back for tea and scones!
