All Human Death is Here

While my brush is on burst fire mode, another pack of zombies.

Snow White and Huntsman set

Zombicide doesn't just have one type of walkers, that would be too easy. No, they have collectible ones too, the NPC collection you see here. Leofa sold some of his lot, keeping enough for a pair of each sculpt, which was a blessed relief in terms of painting them!

Milkmaids and Bishops

As well padding out your gravetide with additional sculpts, it has an in-game effect too. Kill and collect five different NPC walkers and you can trade them in for a random bit of decent equipment. Nice!

Monks and Dancers

There's a good macabre sense of humour at work with these, too. Very George Romero, with an assorted cast of medieval grocers, dancers and hawkers. Good for roleplay, too - remember that lovable dwarven blacksmith you defrauded before the apocalypse? Well, he remembers you too, and he's brought your change.

Saracens and Dwarves

I tried something different on the bases this time. This broken cobble effect is egg shells, something a friend of mine suggested recently. It's not bad, actually, although I had my doubts before it was painted.

Bards and Bankers

Easy enough to get hold of, obviously, you just keep the shell and dry it out before peeling away any membrane and then crushing it. It needs fairly thick glue to hold, I discovered. Next time I might mix some sand in as well, I think that will help keep the appearance nice and irregular.

What goes Ha Ha Bonk?

Is that nearly a hundred zombies done? I think it is! Almost enough to play a fully painted game. Just a few pieces to go for that to be possible, though. In the meantime, this batch's hero is a berserk dwarf.
