The CEO is here to clear the hurdle of destroying mutantkind!
The evil genius behind the Prime Sentinels (the goatee was a bit of a giveaway), Sebastion 'Bastion ' Gilberti is a mash-up of two previous Sentinel bosses to make a much smaller, but no less villainous, hunter of mutants.
Similar to the Prime Sentinels, his unitards was Chaos Black undercoat, drybrushes of Eshin Grey, Dawnstone and Celestra Grey, Nuln Oil wash and a thinned layer of Thunderhawk Blue. The pink was basecoat Screamer Pink, layers of Impish Rouge and Emperor's Children.
On the table, he's quite formidable for a 4 Threat: two strong attacks, a teleport, damage reduction, an effect to stop enemies healing and a spiteful little zap when one of his team gets taken out. Plus a tactics card to gain healing, he really is the full package.
But his leadership ability troubles me - any enemy receiving damage from an allied attack will take one less power than normal (or two less if they attacker is a lower threat). So opponents will power up slower - or not at all if you can hit them with chip damage.
I think it's a really competitive ability, and possibly a stronger leadership than the alternative (Sentinel Prime gaining power for taking out opponents), but gaining power from damage is such a core mechanic of the game, I wonder if it removing it will tread on your opponent's fun too much. Getting pummelled by an attack is all well and good, but having no chance of reply may feel like too much of a spoilsport.
I'll try it out and see if I am met with too many eyerolls, then switch back to Sentinel Prime. Even villainy has its limits.
