Undaunted by The Lockdown, eight players take the Skypehammer plunge and throw down in a campaign that sees the forgotten planet of Averment washed in blood and betrayal.

2. Routine Patrol: Imperial Guard vs The Purge
Trooper Blakely blinked sweat out of his eyes and checked his lasgun safety hadn't slipped on again. The quartermaster said their weapons passed muster, but everyone knew the real story. The Imperium had forgotten this outpost even existed. Their equipment was decades old, their drill was stale and they were at less than two-thirds company strength, mostly because the oldest troopers had died of old age waiting to be relieved of this tour of duty.
3. Upon The Wings of Night: Black Legion vs The Scourged
There was no need to tell his troops to hold their fire. They knew the right moment to unleash death without signalling. The Seekers' Librarian, Dolo, had shared his prophetic visions with the rest of the battle group the night before, mind to mind around the incense burner in the belvedere of their battle barge.
5. Civil War: Adeptus Mechanicus vs Astra Militarum
A blue-white line cut through the row of parked Chimera by the relay tower, and all three of them exploded. Through the ringing in her ears, Jonquil could hear a feedback howl, some kind of rising static siren. They were under attack.
But Gormenghastly, Dolo realised, was still laughing.
Pootle clapped the juve on the shoulder, gave him a reassuring grin and pressed the pair of stub guns into his hands.
"We're all back here, keeping an eye."
4. Ill-Met By Enlightenment: Space Wolves vs Thousand Sons
The dogs died in droves. It was almost pathetic, seeing the savage animals drop in their tracks, whining and whimpering with pain. Warpfire bolts tore through their pelts and left them on fire. Mounds of fur, studded with the arrows of the Tzaangor hunting flock, littered the ground.5. Civil War: Adeptus Mechanicus vs Astra Militarum
A blue-white line cut through the row of parked Chimera by the relay tower, and all three of them exploded. Through the ringing in her ears, Jonquil could hear a feedback howl, some kind of rising static siren. They were under attack.6. Kingslayer: Black Legion vs The Purge
The Purge had been placed into the front lines wherever possible. The Cabal's Warmaster knew their value as shock troops, but also their liabilities. If the Imperials defending Averment hadn't been a particularly spineless lot, we wouldn't have to deal with these insubordinates... Khol allowed himself a feral smile.7. A Stitch In Time: Thousand Sons vs Chaos Daemons
Alone, Ra'ul stood in the face of the Warp and shut out any possibility from his mind that he would fail. He was infinite, his mind braced against itself, both immovable object and unstoppable force at one moment. His plans would not change. Eternity was his.The Warp would obey him, or be thrown back.8. A Rune Priest's Tail: Space Wolves vs The Scourged
The Space Wolves were firing as they ran in, and the first of Dolo's brothers fell. Brilliant white forks stabbed down from above, broiling them inside their armour. The Wolves were howling as they ran, a soul-chilling cry. If only I had a soul left to chill, Dolo thought. My trap is sprung with my brothers' lives. The foolish hunters have taken my bait.9. Unto The Breach: Nurgle Daemons & The Purge vs Thousand Sons & The Scourged
"I am the Finite Eternity, the still eye of the Warpstorm." Ra'ul called. Under the seething portal, Gormenghastly stood motionless. "This Breach is mine. You have failed. Bow and accept a new master."But Gormenghastly, Dolo realised, was still laughing.
10. You Know My Name: Imperial Guard vs Alpha Legion
++ Rejoice Guardsman! The struggle for Averment is nearly at it ends and victory is a statistical possibility. As your regiment has reached 91% martyrdom, you have been selected for a very special mission to link up with our astartes allies. No secure codes are required for your meeting, for who could mistake the Emperor's Angels?++11. Down Into Depths: Necromunda
"You'll be fine. Straight as rails, it'll take you five minutes."Pootle clapped the juve on the shoulder, gave him a reassuring grin and pressed the pair of stub guns into his hands.
"We're all back here, keeping an eye."
