This gorgeous creature is the Servant of the Silent Ones, a House Delaque special agent. It comes to me courtesy of General Bubonicus, who very kindly sent me one as a thank-you for our running campaign last year!
There's a write-up owing in which it features, in fact (although it arrived too late for the game). Having bossed the campaign, Bubonicus sent his Cawdor fanatics deep into the tunnels under my final settlement to root out whatever horror was lurking down there. He picked the Servant as the final boss level, and it didn't disappoint - but you'll have to wait for me to actually write it up to see what happened.
The model's cracking, a horrible twisty cable worm creature. Pity that poor Orlock (you can tell by the glove) being sucked into its rotary mouth like so much spaghetti. Or not, it was an Orlock after all.
Good fun to paint, despite choosing to do colour shift paints and the multiple coats that entails. Alongside this, there's a store freebie from last month, a Fire Dragon, done in cold frosty colours:
And a homebrew bits-box guy made of all sorts of odds and ends, but mostly a Tempestus Prime coat. He's got an Orlock hand too, there's that glove again. Face from the Hive Scum box, biker legs, GSC and Escher bits in there too, and he's either a House Greim Military Adviser to aid the Goliaths or some over-dressed Bounty Hunter.
More when I get some! My queue is dry, so it might have to be terrain.
