Bugs!
Not much painting from me lately, I've been busy. Nice to finally get this batch done after starting them about two months ago. It's all Dungeons and Lasers, and it's all insect themed.
Red ants, labrador-sized to scale |
Centipedes, man-high |
A trio of large spiders, probably as big as cats |
And not as large as this one, which has caught itself a nice morsel |
Drider! She'll carry you, Mr Frodo. |
Elsewhere, I finished off Granny's
other Garden.
Commissioned by my eldest, who loved the piece apart from these massive skulls. Too much hassle to remove them, sadly. |
It's stuck down to a large display base (part of a broken disco lamp). She made the small white mushrooms herself, sculpting them from glue-gun glue by firing it into a basin of cold water. Clever! And very effective. |
The extra mushroom at the back is another DnL piece, painted earlier. Smashing hut overall, a joy to paint. |
Finally, this 26-pointer was painted by my youngest in one of her sporadic bursts of interest in the hobby. I did the base and some inking, but her colours. |
A proper family post! Great to see (and I had braced myself for the inevitable spiders...!)
