White Scars

My Ultramarines army is (ahem) broadly done, though I know of a couple of additions yet to come. Aside from the Raven Guard project that's not-driven by my son, I've hankered after doing White Scars since, oooh, about 1990? Luckily I decided then that painting white was probably too hard so picked Blood Angels and then Ultramarines. Can I do white now?

Painted so far:

  • Captain in Terminator Armour
  • Librarian in Terminator Armour
  • Chaplain on Bike
  • 5 Terminators
  • 5 Assault Intercessors
  • 3 Outriders
  • 2 ATVs
  • Brutalis Dreadnought
  • Ballistus Dreadnought
  • Impulsor
Still to come:
  • Kor'sarro Khan
  • 6 Outriders
  • 1 ATV
  • Primaris Lt
  • Librarian
  • 5 Intercessors
  • 5 Desolation Marines
  • 5 Infernus Marines
  • 5 Infiltrators

In addition to the above, I tested things out with an RTB01, which I completely love even though I think that this army is going to be Primaris-only

The Terminator officers were great fun to paint (though I was amused by quite how much bigger than the OG Terminator Captain the new guy is!)

This one is a little cheeky (and I'm very proud of it). It's the Bike Chaplain I built for the Raven Guard. Becuase he's magnetised so he can be a Chaplain on foot as well, his left arm is magnetised to grip the handle bars.

All I needed to do was cut the shoulder pad off and magnetise in a White Scars version. Tadaa!

These guys were amazing to paint too. Just a shame they're monopose.

I've got Kor'sarro Khan on the painting desk who will lead these guys soon.

You can't have a White Scars list without a load of Bikes. I've finished three so far...

And there are six more on the painting desk

Supporting them are two ATVs (with switchable weapons) and another on the painting desk

The Brutalis is a beast and (obviously) magnetised so he can take all the options, though Multimeltas and Claws seems the obvious route right now.

No options for the Ballistus sadly, just moveable arms.
