In Soviet Russia, man irons you.
Iron Man is not short of copycat opponents, but one of the most iconic is Crimson Dynamo (who made it into a Paul MacCartney B-side). He's the Soviet answer to Iron Man, so has similar powers with a more rugged aesthetic.
He's also the leader of an affiliation: the Winter Guard. These are the Russian version of the Avengers (though far less numerous, and much more likely to die). They're not hugely well-liked in the game (and not just for the obvious reasons), but there's a certain charm to the playstyle of just grinding out results through sheer stubbornness.
Painting-wise, I was going for red (naturally), but didn't want him shiny and bright like Iron Man. Overbrushing seemed the obvious course, so I started with a black undercoat, then overbrushed Khorne Red and Wazdakka Red.
With that done, it was just the metallics on the limbs, yellow on the eyes, chest and hands, and he was done. I did initially try a glow effect on the chest star (like I did on the hand), but while it did look like a glow, the star was less distinct, so I went back to flat red (maybe Dynamo hasn't been paying the bill).
Onwards with this new affiliation!
