Mix'n'match Astartes!
Kas sent me a little grab bag of marines to sort out. Nice to paint some Crypt Angels again!
Here's an evil jump captain. He's bouncing off another marine's head, which is partly buried but also smoking? I can't help but feel he's jumping up and down on the guy, making sure he's really well planted.
These two complete a squad of Reivers. The original three came out with the very first release of Primaris Marines, so it's good that they've finally caught up. There might even be a detachment somewhere that they can do some work in, you never know with Reivers.
Next, there's another stray. It's an Infernus marine, Kas thought one must have escaped the Leviathan box when I did that. The photos don't lie, though, I've already painted ten! Neither of us have any idea where he's come from, but he's painted now, so he's been drafted. His flames are made of white milliput with a paper clip wire support drilled into the barrel. Turned out well.
Here's a Terminator Chaplain. Not much to say about him, he's grimdark and tubby in all the right ways. Good stuff!
Last, a Culexus. This is the third time I've done one, and I've gone off them. Of the four assassins, this guy is the least fun to do. Something about that headpiece - it looks great in the artwork, but I don't think it translates well to the model. A touch busy, perhaps?
Back to the KnockRat shortly! I'm just finishing off one of the participants before they make their debut.
