Job's a Dead 'Un

Orks is never beat! 'Kos if dey win, dat's alright. But if dey lose, dey come back as da Livvin' Ded!

Zombicide Green Horde is a stand-alone expansion to the main game. Last time out, you fought through tides of zombified townsfolk. Same deal this time, except you've gone to Ork Town and the zombies are a new colour.

These are Ork Walkers. They hit harder? I think that was their deal. And there's a mean Horde Rush mechanic, so every time a zombie pack joins the game, it also reinforces a big rush pool. At certain points, this tips a very big blob of zombies into the streets, which is just as bad as you'd expect.

As ever, the sculpts are smashers. Spikey, snarly orks that clearly took a beating before dying the first time. I went with hulk purple and pale bone as their robe colours, it makes for a good contrast. If they weren't mere mobs, the robes might have looked even better with some colour bands or checks on, but I've got leaders to do later who might get that treatment.

The tide of models is finally starting to look a bit smaller! Just a few more packs of walking dead left to go before I can settle into a steady stream of lovely characters and monsters. I did do a couple more heroes this time, just to keep them ticking along.

Some of the Kickstarter goals for Green Horde are very clearly lifted from other IPs. Or, in this case, real life.

Who wants to live forever?
The Great Zanzibar, that's who.

Plenty more to come!
