Class of 1666

Necromancers I promised you, and Necromancers is what I have.

Evil Troy. He shops both smart and S-Mart.

The last of the small models is done. I'm nearly down to single digits to finish Zombicide! This is a good feeling.

The Blackheart, who can also be a shaman on Team Good if he's so inclined.
Queen Severa. Turns people into pigs, by the look of her.
Queen Medea. Mind where you're sticking that knife, lady.
Hildir the Wise is not, in fact, a Necromancer. She's the hero who owns the pet goat from a few weeks back, but she'd been put in with the other necromancers. Witch is just stererotyping, really.
Gary Oldman.
Grin, who certainly is doing so.
Let's give a big hand for Ostokar the Pale!
Tainted Abomination. It blows up if you kill it, almost certainly killing any heroes in the same square.
Swamp Troll, an abomination who will ambush the heroes from the nearest water feature.
The Lord of Skulls, an Adrian Smith design, one of the most powerful necromancers. Not so much from his own powers, more those of his bodyguards...
...these two Ogre Abominations, Doom and Gloom. They always spawn with him, so you'd better hope you have some dragonfire.
To make it worse, if the bruisers can see a hero, they'll charge in to finish them off.
Bad as those three are, they still aren't the biggest threats in the game. The Abominabunny here kills any survivors in the same square as it when it activates, thanks to possessing a vicious streak a mile wide.

Here, though, we have a bunch of bad guys. Either Abominations, the biggest zombies with the hardest punches, or the Necromancers who made them. Ordinary Necromancers just bring a bunch of extra zombies with them. These ones are either harder to kill themselves, faster or bring extra backup. Plenty of character all over them, anyway, and very fun to paint.

Bits of what? I'll never tell.

My me time this week was spent on a bit of scatter terrain for Necromunda - it's the Sausage Stand from the game the other week. This will eventually be secured to a modular board, I'm thinking, although it may stay so I can lose it in the hobby cupboard more easily.

Let's hope its this grox, which is made of green stuff, half a Battlemasters Wolf Rider and the head of an old lead Trish Morrison Minotaur, plus somebody's chainsword so you can cut your own.
It'll eventually be set up something like this, with a flamer to cook your slices with, but that's not done yet.

Nothing but big guys left to go!

  1. All of these are lovely (horrible), but the killer rabbit has a special place in my heart. It's got teeth like...
